On Habermas' Theory Of Colonization Of Lifeworld From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

The theory of colonization of life-world is the product of Habermas' analysis and consideration of the current situation of the late capitalist society,which contains rich philosophical implications and practical significance.Habermas claims to be a Marxist.His theory has absorbed many predecessors' ideas.He has criticized and reconstructed Marx's historical materialism from the perspective of communicative action theory.The purpose of this paper is to sort out and study Habermas' colonial theory of life world.The author hopes to affirm and identify the positive factors of colonial theory of life world and to analysis and criticize its incompleteness.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter starts from the realistic background analysis.According to the historical conditions of Habermas' time,the author clarifies the significance and the purposes of this study from both theoretical and practical aspects,and to conclude the inadequacies of previous studies by review the previous theoretical development.That is to say,this is examined from the perspective of historical materialism.The study of one theory is very rare.The second chapter is to analyze Habermas' s interpretation of life world from the perspective of Marx's perceptual world,so as to illustrate the origin and basic characteristics of this theory.In the briefly introduction,how Habermas' s theory of life world absorb Husserl's and other people's theory of life world and transformed the linguistics forms.Besides,the theory discuss the relationship between life world and communicative action,and explain the three basic characteristics of Habermas' s theory of life world.This paper compares Habermas' s life world with Marx's perceptual world,and analysis the similarities between them.The third chapter mainly explains the main content of the theory of life-world colonization.Starting from the evolution process of the relationship between life-world and system,this chapter discusses the concrete manifestation of life-world colonization,traces its origin and explores the causes ofcolonization,that is,rationalization of life-world.The author hopes to find a solution and solve this social problem,that is,to construct the communicative community under the ideal speaking situation.Chapter Four examines the inheritance and deviation of this theory from Marx's historical materialism.The conclusion,it discusses the enlightenment and reference of this theory to modern capitalist society and the future development of China.The foothold of the theory is actually the current capitalist system,which determines that Habermas' s life world colonization theory is the defense of the system.
