Research On Local Government Response To Network Public Opinion

At present,China has ushered in a new era of "Internet+".The democratic awareness of citizens has been continuously enhanced.People have gradually relied on the Internet to pay attention to all aspects of social issues,life and entertainment,and participate in social life and government governance by expressing personal opinions and opinions.As an emerging force,online public opinion came into being with the development of information technology and democratic politics.Compared with the traditional public opinion,the influence is wider and the expression is more convenient.However,due to its own particularity,there are also problems in the expression method.For a long time,the government has paid more and more attention to online public opinion.How to effectively respond to online public opinion in the era of "Internet+" and play an active role in online public opinion has become an important issue in current government governance.On the basis of the gradual acceptance of the public opinion by the government,this paper starts with the concept and characteristics of online public opinion and analyzes its new requirements for government response.Based on the theory of service-oriented government,the theory of "good governance",the theory of political communication and the theory of people's sovereignty,this paper expounds the necessity and value of the government's positive response to online public opinion in the new era.Looking back at the development of online public opinion and the evolution of government responses,it is undeniable that great progress has been made.However,from the perspective of the overall development of the government's response,due to the comprehensive factors of the cyberspace environment,the government level and the public level,the government still has a misunderstanding of the network public opinion.Generally speaking,the government is in a state of passive response.Therefore,Chinese local governments still have a lot of room for improvement in responding to online public opinion.Based on this premise,a recent representative case is introduced to describe its response status,which is used to analyze how the current government responds to public opinion in the governance process.Finally,combined with the current "Internet+governmentservice" background,the specific countermeasures for improving local government response are proposed from the aspects of response system,staff ability,perfection of public opinion expression and advanced technology application.
