The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to strengthen the building of a community governance system,Change the previous focus of social governance and focus on grassroots governance. At the same time, social organizations should be used to realize the benign interaction between government, society and residents.Rural community governance is an important foundation and composition of community governance in China, and rural residents' participation in community governance is receiving more and more attention. However,in practice, the motivation of rural residents to participate in community governance is obviously insufficient, which directly affects the effectiveness of rural community governance. At the same time, although social work has achieved outstanding results in the intervention of urban communities, there are few practices in participating in rural community governance.Studies have shown that the performance of social work in rural community governance still needs to be improved. The social capital involved in residents' community life not only improves the level of residents' participation in rural community governance, but also provides a new practice path for community work to intervene in rural community governance. Therefore, social workers face the current situation of insufficient residents' participation, tap the connection between social capital and the participation of rural community residents, and promote the participation of rural community residents. It has important practical value for social work to participate in rural community governance, and also for rural areas in China.Community governance has important practical significance. Therefore, this paper aims to systematically study the impact of social capital on the participation of rural community residents, understand the social capital of rural communities and the status of residents' participation, and explore the specific factors that affect the participation of social capital,so as to involve the rural community residents in social work.Governance provides advice. Therefore,in the framework of analysis, this paper starts from the related research and influencing factors of rural community residents' participation, the causal relationship between social capital and resident participation is clarified.Further combing the three core elements of social trust, social network and reciprocity norms, and making research hypotheses, and based on this research hypothesis, using CGSS2012 data to empirically analyze the factors affecting the participation of rural community residents, the research results are as follows:(1)The rural social capital stock needs to be improved. At the same time, the study finds that Chinese rural residents show different differences in trust status when dealing with different objects. The social network capital of rural residents is realized as a lower scale, with a single network and total resources.Low-level,small network differences and reciprocal norms in rural areas, despite the impact of the market economy, there is still a culture of mutual assistance;(2)The participation of rural community residents is not optimistic, and the level of participation of rural community residents in China is low, especially in community economic participation and cultural participation;(3)Different dimensions of social capital have different impacts on residents' participation.Among them, neighborhood trust, reciprocity norms, network scale, network composition, and positive impact on residents' participation;the top of the network has a significant impact on residents' participation;relatives trust, stranger trust and network differences do not participate in rural community residents.Have an impact.According to the research results, this paper finally proposes the enlightenment of building social capital to enhance residents' participation when social work is involved in rural community governance.First, social work should focus on increasing trust in neighbors, and increase inter-residents by increasing interaction and knowledge among residents.Trust provides a good atmosphere for the participation of rural community residents.Second, social work can use network capital to create a platform for residents to participate. On the one hand, social work organizations should pay attention to cultivating and developing informal organizations in rural communities. On the other hand, social workers should make resource links and expand network resources of rural communities. At the same time, social work can also regulate residents' participation in the community through community norms. On the one hand, the formation of norms,on the one hand, tap the traditional norms in the community, the township rules and regulations,on the other hand, cultivate community elites, and promote community models.
