Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Urban City Management In Yiwu City

Urban appearance management is an activities done by the urban Appearance Administrative Department of the local government,which replys on the city supervision team and social participation.The department regulates the tidiness and standards of foreign trades,urban constructions,landscape lightings,outdoor advertising and production transportation in accordant with the laws and regulations.It is one of the important symbols of the urban image.In recent years,Yiwu have paid more and more attention to the city appearance management.Although the government invested a large amount of money,manpower and material resources so that it has achieved some certain effects and explored many ways to improve the environments and appearance of Yiwu city,the input-output ratio is not high.This article mainly analysed the existing problems and causes of the appearance management in Yiwu city.The causes of the problems of urban appearance management are mainly related to the incompletion of system reform,the breakdown of the legal protection system,the low public participation and the low personnel quality of the management.According to the research of domestic and foreign advanced experience and the reality of Yiwu city,combining with the personal urban management working experience,the author proposed some possible innovations which include improve management efficiency by increasing the investment of the Internet thinking,guiding citizens to participate in the urban appearance management by using cash or honor incentive mechanisms,improving administrative efficiency by introducing market competition mechanism,and building a unified management platform at the grass-roots level by delegating the power of the law enforcement.
