Research On Moral Construction In The Establishment Of National Civilized City

With the deepening development of socialist market economy and the everexpanding opening up,China's moral construction is facing a severe test.It is a necessary and urgent task to solve outstanding problems in the field of morality and strengthen moral construction.At present,the national civilized city is the most valuable city brand in China.To improve the quality of citizens and the level of urban civilization,moral construction is indispensable.Based on the background of the current national civilized city construction,this paper analyses its moral construction function,with a view to discovering the correlation between them and promoting their interaction effect,so as to improve the relevant theory of moral construction in China,and provide theoretical reference and practical basis for the national civilized city construction and moral construction.Moral construction is a complex social system engineering.As one of the social control forces,moral construction needs to interact with other social norms in order to better affect the whole social life.Based on the theory of socialist spiritual civilization construction and the theory of Marxist moral construction,this paper combs the ways and effects of moral construction in the construction of civilized cities throughout the country by means of investigation,documentation and comparative research.It summarizes the ways of education,public opinion supervision,cultural edification,government leadership and legal compulsion,and combines them with the Fifth FiveYear Plan.The reality of building a civilized city is that Changzhou educates people with moral lectures,Wuhan demonstrates people with advanced examples,Baotou edifies people with characteristic culture,Zhangjiagang leaders with honest government,Xiamen restricts people with laws and regulations,and further illustrates the way of moral construction with specific cases,which highlights the effectiveness of moral construction in building a civilized city in the whole country.The operability ofcivilized city construction makes the moral construction come true,the quality of citizens and the degree of civilized city have been significantly improved,and the moral construction has achieved tangible results.As an important part of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization,building a civilized city not only plays a great role in improving the level of urban civilization in China,but also strongly promotes moral construction and becomes an effective way of moral construction.At the same time,we should realize that the construction of civilized cities is always on the way,and there are still problems and shortcomings in moral construction.We should continue to explore the optimization strategy of moral construction,clarify the objectives,improve the relevant mechanisms,optimize the construction environment,highlight the level and pertinence of moral construction,effectively improve the effect of moral construction,and constantly promote the progress of civilized cities towards a higher level.
