Social Work Is Involved In The Study Of Home-based Care Services For Empty-nesters

With an ageing population in our country and the urbanization advancement speeding up unceasingly,the family structure in our country gradually core,family size became smaller,the proportion of empty nest family will rise,followed by,the number of empty nesters has been increasing in our country,and they bear the brunt of face is pension problems at home.On the one hand,with the increasing age,the needs of empty-nesters for home care are also increasing,which is not only reflected in the increase of the number of empty-nesters served,but also in the expansion of their care needs.At the present stage,with the continuous development of social economy,the needs of empty-nesters are no longer limited to the ordinary care of material life,but extend to the non-material needs such as entertainment and spiritual comfort.As an independent group,empty-nesters have certain particularity.They lack the company of their children for a long time,and they have a stronger demand for leisure,entertainment,social contact,spiritual comfort and other aspects.On the other hand,there are many deficiencies in the social pension services for empty-nesters.As a vulnerable group among the elderly,the empty-nesters are currently facing the dilemma of weak home-based care and insufficient social support supply.Therefore,how to improve the home-based care services for the empty-nesters,broaden the social support network for them,and let them spend their old age happily has become a problem of concern to the society.Based on the author's internship experience,this paper takes X in changsha city as an example to carry out research on home-based care services for empty-nesters in the community through group work and case work.This research is mainly divided into five parts to elaborate: the first chapter of the introduction,mainly describes the research topic background,research purpose,significance,literature review and research ideas and methods;The second chapter defines the relevant concepts and explains the relevant theoretical basis,which lays a theoretical foundation for the research design after the writing.Chapter three makes an in-depth analysis of the basic situation of empty-nesters in X community and the status quo of home-based care services,and analyzes the necessity of social work intervention.The fourth chapter is based on the necessity analysis of the third chapter,from the perspective of social work,through carrying out group work and case work to intervene in specific services,and details the specific process of practice,as well as the whole process of evaluating the effectiveness of intervention;The fifth chapter is the research summary of the above mentioned practice,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions from the perspective of social work.We further call on the society to pay attention to the empty-nesters and solve their difficulties in a way that links resources and forces of all parties so that empty-nesters can live a happy life in old age.
