Study On The Social Support System Of Rural "Empty-nesters" Pension Service In The Period Of Social Transition

China is the biggest developing country in the world. Since the 1970 s the family planning policy began to carry out, which makes our country has not yet reached the national pension conditions while entering the aging society in advance. Chinese urban and rural dual system made country lag behind the city in economic development and social security and other aspects. The aging problem is very serious because of the high rural population, high degree of aging and the unsound social security system. In the process of urbanization and industrialization, this problem is not only related to the justice and development of our country, but also closely related to the overall goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way. Therefore constructing the system of rural old-age social support has a profound and urgent practical significance.In recent years, our country modernization and urbanization process are accelerating, a large number of young rural labour go into cities for self-development. The loss of the chief support rural power leads to the "empty nesters" phenomenon. Because of the particularity of the empty nesters’ endowment environment, they face more pressure compared the other old people.Rural empty-nesters become especially special groups and vulnerable groups in the empty nest elderly group because they are restricted by regional integrated endowment conditions. By 2012, the number of empty nesters in rural areas in China has been more than 50 million, account 36.8% of the rural elderly population. Rural empty-nesters scale increases year by year makes its endowment problem increasingly prominent.In the period of system transformation,rural empty nest elderly often faces the pressure which from economic support, medical expenditure and the spiritual support and so on in daily life. And the rural area social security system is not perfect,the security level is relatively low.The empty nester are difficult to rely on the social security system completely to live comfortable in their old age. If not to deal with this problem timely andeffectively,this part of the old man will be in a vacuum state of pension.Through the research of rural empty nester about their living conditions and the formal and informal social support they can get, researching the effect factors and degree on rural empty nester,we can put forward the professiona and pertinence social support measures so that the rural empty nester can get rid of endowment dilemma, improve the quality of personal pension and have a better retirement life.This paper studies the factors that influence the quality of life of rural empty nester in the view of social support.To investigate the role of social support in the rural old-age security and how to construct the social support system about empty nester effectively.Then,this paper conducted a questionnaire survey and personal interviews about the local empty nester in the investigation place and to find out whether their survival and development requirements can be satisfied or not under the given resources on the basis of analyzing the causes of the rural empty nester groups at the present stage in China,combined with the theory of social support, intergenerational ethic relationship theory, welfare equalization theory and family life cycle theory.Then,study on the influence degree of various social support in the system of rural empty nester pension.At last,the thesis constructs a diversified social support system about rural empty nester and proposed the countermeasure suggestions.
