Nowadays, innovation is required in community governance system, which means the governance mode that government takes charge of all community affairs will be replaced by efficient and convenient community grid management.Hence, the building leader system is regarded as a significant method of managing the community increasingly. In fact, the problem of insufficient participation of community residents has been improved since the implementation of building leader system. Moreover, the efficiency of community governance and cohesiveness of the community are enhanced as well.Nevertheless, the problem of low-level leadership and lack of upgrade path for building leaders are still general.By combining the status quo of the X community with the six-dimensional leadership model constructed by Yang Sizhuo, social workers assessed the upgrade demand of the building leader in terms of learning,decision-making,organizing,teaching,execution and charisma.Furthermore, they organized six group activities by utilizing social learning theory and empowerment theory. After which, the preliminary upgrade of building leaders in X community are depicted on building leader leadership development scale.Consequently, the significance of worker skill training, the dynamic sustainability of group activities, and the rationality of applying localization theory can be reflected by reviewing the activities and summarizing experience. Thus,it is necessary and effective to involve in the leadership improvement of the building leader by using group work method. In this way,not only the personal potential of the building leader can be effectively tapped, but also the happiness of life in community can be enhanced.Furthermore, the construction of a harmonious community can be promoted.
