Nehru Asian Diplomacy Transformation

India was once Britain's most important colony in Asia,and India was a great influence on Asian and African countries.After the second world war,India gained national independence through hard struggle,which greatly inspired the independence movement of the colonial people in the region of Asia and Africa.Independent India has also been active in global and regional affairs.Jawaharlal Nehru is an outstanding politician and diplomat in Indian history and a Hindu brahmin caste.After studying abroad in the UK,he joined the Indian independence movement.He became India's first prime minister and minister of foreign affairs and designed the diplomatic strategy of India after independence.He had a profound influence on the Indian government's strategic thinking on Asia.Since India's independence,Nehru has controlled India's foreign policy for 17 years until his death.As Nehru's biographer Mr Brecher says,"there has never been a modern head of state who,like Nehru,dominates India's foreign policy."
