The Influence Study Of Family Function On Mental Health Of Public Security Police

Mental health has always been a key issue in psychological research,and the service and intervention for mental health of special population are increasingly important.Public security police is a special professional group,and public security work makes them bear great physical and mental pressure.Therefore,it is urgent to make an in-depth study of the mental health status of the public security police,and find out the relevant factors affecting the mental health level of this group,so as to provide reference basis for the mental health service work of the public security police.Among all the factors affecting mental health,family is one of the most critical ones.The exertion of various functions of the family system has a direct impact on the physical and mental health of the police.In addition,their own unique personality traits are also closely related to the level of mental health.Therefore,this study analyzed the status and influencing factors of mental health and family function of public security police,explored the prediction function of family function on mental health level,and the role of individual personality traits in the two,and also designed an intervention experiment focusing on the influence of family function on mental health.The whole study is divided into the following two studies.The specific contents and conclusions of the study are as follows.Study 1: research on the relationship between family functions and mental health of public security police--the regulating effect of mental health personality.The mental health level of the public security police was measured by the Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),their family function status was measured by the Family Assessment Device(FAD),and their personality traits were measured by the Cattell Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire(16PF).This paper analyzes their mental health and family function status,explores the relationship between their mental health level and family function,and then further discusses the regulating effect of mental health personality on family function and mental health level.Conclusion:(1)In this study,the mental health level of 2,338 police officers was relatively low.The positive detection rate of mental health symptoms of public security police was 21.2%.Compared with the national norm,their total score of scl-90,as well as six factors score such as somatization,anxiety,phobia anxiety,paranoia ideation,psychoticism and others(sleep and diet),were significantly higher than the national norm.Compared with other professional groups in the local area,the score of public security police in terms of phobia anxiety factor was not significantly different from that of other professional groups.In addition,the total score of scl-90 and its various factors were significantly higher than those of other professional groups.(2)In this study,the family function of the public security police was weak.The role function,emotional response function,emotional involvement function,behavioral control function and overall function in their family function all exceed the unhealthy critical value,indicating that these family functions were missing,among which the function with the highest proportion of missing people was behavioral control function,followed by affective responsiveness function and affective involvement function.(3)The mental health level of public security police with different demographic variables is different.In terms of gender,male civilian police are lower than female civilian police.In terms of age,middle-aged police are lower than young police.In the unit,the police of the basic sub-bureau are lower than that of the unit directly under the bureau.In the police category,law enforcement service police is the lowest,followed by comprehensive management police and police technology police.In the ranks of police,the superintendent is the lowest,followed by the police inspector,and then the police officer.In terms of position,civilian police with non-leading posts are lower than those with leading posts.In terms of police age,the police age of 10-19 years is the lowest,followed by more than 20 years of civilian police,again 0-9 years of civilian police.(4)The family functions of public security police vary with different demographic variables.In terms of gender,male civilian police are weaker than female civilian police.In terms of age,middle-aged police are weaker than young police.In the unit,the police of the basic sub-bureaus are weaker than those of the units directly under the bureaus.In the police category,law enforcement service police is the weakest,followed by the comprehensive management police and the police technology police.In the ranks of police,the police inspector is the weakest,followed by the superintendent,and then the police officer.In terms of position,civilian police with non-leading posts are weaker than those with leading posts.In terms of police age,police with a police service of more than 20 years and 10-19 years are weaker than those with a police service of 0-9 years.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between family function and mental health level of public security police,and each dimension of family function can predict the overall level of mental health and the health level of each factors to varying degrees.(6)Mental health personality traits play a regulating role in problem solving function and mental health level,as well as overall function and mental health level.Problem solving function and overall function have a greater influence on the mental health level of the police with low mental health personality.Study 2: intervention experiment of family function of public security police on mental health.On the basis of discovering the relationship between mental health and family function,this paper investigates the changes of family function and mental health level of police through the family function intervention.Conclusion:(1)The intervention of family function can improve the family function of public security police and further improve their mental health.It can help police to build a good family system and establish a healthy mental level by improving family function.(2)There was a significant positive correlation between the changes in family function before and after measurement and the changes in mental health before and after measurement,and the changes in family function problem solving,role,emotional response and general function had a certain predictive effect on the changes in mental health scl-90 total score and some factors before and after measurement.
