Discussion On The Relationship Between Public Opinion Supervision And Judicial Justice With Hot Spot Cases

With the development of society and the enhancement of people's thinking on rule of law,people pay more and more attention to the fairness of judicial cases,especially the hot cases with national representation.Therefore,supervision by public opinion plays an important role in judicial trials.As a kind of people's power to check and balance state power,supervision by public opinion is based on the Constitution of our country and embodies people's democratic rights.If we want to do a good job of supervision by public opinion,on the one hand,we should speed up the legislation of news,communication and public opinion at more levels,on the other hand,we should standardize the professional ethics of media workers,improve the legal thinking and moral accomplishment of news and media practitioners,and protect the legitimate rights and interests of media journalists.Judicial organs should also continue to publicize and educate law popularization,and be able to think and measure from a rational perspective when facing judicial cases.In order to achieve a benign interaction between justice and public opinion,fully suppress the possible negative role of public opinion,and give full play to the role of public opinion in the supervision and promotion of judicial justice.Therefore,dealing with the relationship between public opinion supervision and judicial justice is an important manifestation of the implementation of the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress and the proper meaning of building a socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics.
