The game between judicial organs and the supervision of public opinion isa frequently discussed problem. According to the2013most-watcheddomestic media hype, the Li Moumou Gang Rape Case, the author is trying toclearly outline the concern and nonconfidence when the judicial organs face thenews media, as well as the doubt and distrust when the news media faces the judicialorgans by analyzing the public opinion warfare between the news media and thejudicial organs. The final outcome of the game is not a win-win but a lose-lose. Thejudicial organs and the news media eventually lost the credibility which is alreadyprecarious in the public’s eyebrows. The behaviors of the judicial organs and the news media related to theLi Moumou Gang Rape Case are reviewed in Chapter1; the infringement of minorsprivacy issues in related reports is discussed In Chapter2; In Chapter3,the game between judicial organs and the supervision of public opinion is reviewed; In Chapter4, the author elaborates at great length that the judicial organs and thenews media should pursue the positive interaction in order to seek a balance. Bywriting this paper, the author becomes more aware of the importance of the rule oflaw in Chinese social development. Back in the eighties of the last century, thelegislative proposals on "Press Law" have been proposed. But after a lapse of morethan thirty years, it still remains in the part of academic discussions. However, withthe continuous development of the media itself, merely a "Press Law" has beenunable to meet the public opinion’s attention. Therefore, the author proposes to makethe " Press Law ", while make the "Cyber Law" and the "Information DisclosureLaw" in order to provide a relatively complete legal protection on the game betweenjudicial organs and the news media.
