With the deepening of the reform of state-owned enterprises in China and vigorous development of private enterprises after Reform and Opening-up Policy, there are different development trends and characteristics within the worker groups of different ownership enterprises.Including their identity, status and the condition of their life and work, they have attracted considerable attention in academic circles. And the development of enterprises with different ownership has also changed the applicability of the concept of working class, most scholars still have great enthusiasm and concern about the living and working conditions of workers in traditional industries.Among them, social composition is an extremely important part of these studies. This research takes the workers of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises as the research object, innovatively defines the connotation and extension of the concept of social composition.By means of questionnaire survey, three state-owned enterprises and five private enterprises in Heilongjiang Province were investigated on the spot, and their social composition was compared by Chi-square test and T-test.The study finds that there are no significant differences in gender among workers in different ownership enterprises, and there are significant differences in age, education level, political countenance, household registration status, original family and income status; At the same time,it is found that the gender distribution of the contemporary worker group is not balanced;the new generation of workers gradually become the main body of the worker group;the worker group tends to be highly educated;the influence of po litical countenance on the work of the worker group tends to be smaller and the worker group is greatly affected by intergenerational mobility.
