With the further aging,the number of the elderly population is increasing and the number of widowed elderly women is also increasing.According to statistics,the number of widowed elderly women accounts for 70% of the total number of elderly widowed,of which more than half Widowed elderly women are living alone.It is precisely because there are more females in this group,and according to the literature,the psychological characteristics of females are peculiar,so they are more likely to be lonely than males.Therefore,I decided to take the widowed old females as the research object.Taking the X community in Taiyuan City as an example,the ESLI questionnaire was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 60 elderly people(30 males and 30 females)in the community.After that,10 depth interviews were conducted using the self-designed interview outline.Further confirmed the existence of a strong sense of loneliness of widowed elderly living alone,in view of this issue,it is proposed to use group social work approach to carry out the work of the group.Finally,social workers will record the performance of team members before and after their participation in the team as well as the performance of the team,and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of each team.In turn,the team work carried out the final assessment of the effectiveness and conclusion.Finally,the article will make some constructive suggestions.
