Study On Housing Level And Social Integration Of Floating Population In Beijing

China has entered an era of great mobility.Although the urban-rural dual structure still affects all aspects of urban life of floating population,with the equalization of public services and the introduction of related management measures,the impact of economic factors on social integration is increasing,while the influence of social system factors has gradually weakened.Housing,an important component of socio-economic factors,is the primary problem to be solved when the floating population flows into a new place.The geographical area,community size,community environment,housing type,and housing conditions vary across different social strata,causing isolation which makes the manifestation of social stratum differentiation in urban space more and more obvious and hinders the social integration of floating population.Through quantitative research methods,the paper analyzes the housing level of floating population in Beijing,including the housing source,community types,housing conditions,housing costs,and the nature of housing.By means of multivariate linear regression analysis,discusses the impact of the housing level of floating population in Beijing on social integration.The research finds that the willingness of subjective integration of floating population in Beijing is strong,but the interaction between floating population and local people is infrequent.Most people have a weak sense of belonging to Beijing,and some migrants are confused about their identity.The research finds that the socio-economic factors that affect the willingness of the floating population to participate in subjective integration include education level,annual income,and occupation type.The housing level factors that affect the willingness of the floating population to participate in subjective integration consist of the government's provision of low-rent housing and public rental housing,which is the source of housing;and the commodity housing community and government unit community.This is the type of community.Factors such as housing costs,housing conditions,and the nature of housing have no significant effect on the willingness of subjective integration of floating population.Social and economic factors and institutional factors affect the objective integration of the floating population,such as education level,annual income,inflow duration,the nature of the household registration,and occupational type.The housing level factors have a significant impact on the objective integration of the floating population incorporate renting the company's houses,renting employers' houses,renting private houses,providing low-rent housing,public rental housing,and purchased commercial housing.The variables such as the housing facilities of the floating population,the housing conditions of the family in Beijing per capita living space,housing costs,and the nature of the housing also affect the objective integration of the floating population.The type of community of floating population has no significant effect on the objective integration of floating population.
