Study On The Influence Of Community Home Care Service On Children's Elderly Support Behavior

Under the influence of aging,disability,empty nest and fewer children,the pressure of family support increases.The solution of endowment problem needs to exert the power of society.During the 13 th five-year plan period,the government proposes to build a multi-level social old-age care service system based on home,supported by community and supplemented by institutions,and puts the development of community home care service as the key point in order to meet the diversified needs of elderly people living at home.Influenced by the traditional filial piety culture,feedback feeding of children is an important guarantee for the elderly to live a happy life.Therefore,in the process of promoting community home care service and relieving family care pressure,we need to pay more attention to the traditional family support function,and make clear whether the help of social service will cause changes in children's elderly support behavior.From the perspective of supply,this paper uses the empirical analysis method to discuss the influence of community home care service on children's elderly support behavior,so as to provide some ideas for clarifying the development direction of community home care service,promoting the combination of social service resources and family support resources,and coordinating with all parties to solve the problem of supporting the aged.Based on the data of CLHLS(2014),this paper takes the elderly who live in home as the research object and discusses the relationship between the community home care service and the support behavior of the offspring to the elderly.The dependent variable is “children's elderly support behavior” and is divided into three aspects: life care,economic support and emotional comfort.The independent variable is “community home care service”,including whether to provide community home care service and specific services provided(such as daily care service,health care service and spiritual comfort service).The control variables are the personal characteristics and family characteristics of the elderly.The empirical analysis of this paper is divided into three steps.The first step is to analyze the impact of community home care service on support behavior from a holistic perspective.The second step is to discuss the influence of specific service items on children's elderly support behavior.Thirdly,according to the ADL scale,this paper divides the total sample into self-care elderly,mildly disabled elderly and moderate-to-severe disabled elderly,and further compares the relationship between service provision and support behavior horizontally.Based on the empirical results,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)Community home care service negatively affects children's daily care for their parents.Daily care service,medical care service and spiritual comfort service are negatively correlated with children's care for the elderly,reducing the pressure on children to take care of the elderly;(2)Community home care service positively affects children's financial support for the elderly,promoting the economic transfer of children to their parents;(3)Community home care service has a positive impact on the elderly to obtain emotional comfort from their children,and community health care service has a prominent impact;(4)Among the elderly groups with different daily behavior abilities,the influence of community home care service on children's elderly support behavior is different;(5)The personal and family characteristics of the elderly have a significant impact on the support behavior of their children.Accordingly,this paper puts forward the following suggestions :(1)increase the supply of community home care service and improve the quality of service;(2)subdivide the service objects,enhance the pertinence of service supply;(3)emphasize the responsibility of children to support the elderly and accelerate the implementation of family support policies.
