Research On Social Supervision Over Police Power From The Perspective Of Political Trust

Political trust,as the public's goodwill accumulation of government,is the important flexible mechanism in the government policy process and the basis of cooperative governance.Building a stable political trust relationship is the core development demand of governmentpeople interaction.And it is also the important subject of powers-rights relationship.The public's trust in public security organs and their people's police is an indispensable important capital in the process of police power operation,and it is a valuable resource for improving the governance capacity of public security organs.The effective public's supervision over the operation of the police power is not only a basic system for preventing the alienation of the power of the public security organs,but also an active function to promote the police trust.Based on the construction of trust relationship between the police and the people,this paper uses strengthening and regulating the social supervision over the police power as an important way to build a trust relationship between the police and the people in the new era,and is committed to exploring new ideas to enhance the trust relationship between the police and the people through the perfecting the social supervision mechanism of police power and effectively exerting trust function of social supervision.Based on the theory of political trust and the theory of power supervision,the article uses the methods of literature research,normative research and empirical research to define the concepts of social supervision of police power and police trust,and analyzes the trust-promoting function and realization mechanism of the social supervision over police power.This function includes that reducing the public's questioning psychology,broadening the channels of interaction between police and civilians,preventing police trust from being damaged,and repairing the trust between police and people.This paper analyzes the problems of trust-promoting function which exists in the current social supervision of police power.On this basis,in order to facilitate the generation of the trust between the police and the people in the new era as the starting point and the foothold,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to strengthen the public's supervision of the police power.
