Research On The "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" Design In Public Security Colleges

Police law enforcement is the core of the entire public security work.The level of police law enforcement affects the quality of law enforcement work directly.Strengthening the law enforcement training for reserve police officers will improve the ability of public security organs and construction of law enforcement standardization.Therefore,setting up the "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" in the public security colleges is an important link to strengthen the capacity of police law enforcement.It has important theoretical and practical significance in promoting the reform of police practical training and improving the level of police practical training in public security colleges.At present,there are less theoretical studies on police practical training at home and abroad,and most of them are lack of systematization.In practice,public security colleges rarely have practical training courses that regard police law enforcement as the main content.In fact,most of the practical training courses offered by public security colleges in China are follow-up training in professional courses.Some of the colleges have established(undergraduate)professional comprehensive training.Only three colleges in the investigation have established public security classes.It is fully explained that the "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" has received insufficient attention in the public security higher education curriculum system,and there are problems such as incomplete content,unreasonable class time,single teaching method,lack of evaluation feedback mechanism,weak teacher strength,and weak organizational guarantee.Therefore,there are deficiencies in both theory and practice.The research believes that the current practical training mode plays an important role in the field of police education,especially police force training.Under the guidance of the target curriculum principle,the competency model theory and the training transfer theory,the research conduct field investigations on a number of public security colleges through questionnaires,interviews and then put forward relevant suggestions for problems.First of all,for the curriculum,the "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" should be considered from the top-level design according to the principle of the target curriculum.Then from the requirements-oriented principle,systemic principle,competency-based principle and optimization principle,the basic system of "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" including five aspects: the course content,the arrangement of class hours,teaching method and system,teacher structure and teaching guarantee.Secondly,according to the competency model theory,the content of the practical training course is include the ability of receiving and handling police,on-site law enforcement and case handling,which is designed from ability demand oriented.Finally,according to the training transfer theory and from the perspective of pursuing the best benefit,we should carry out applied thinking through the method of analysis case teaching,task-driven teaching,situational simulation teaching,design teaching combined with the content of "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" and teaching needs.The innovation of this research includes two aspects.Firstly,in order to improve the quality of practical training and students' core competence in law enforcement,the content setting,class schedule,teacher strength,assessment and evaluation mechanism,and training guarantee are discussed in detail.Secondly,the content and system of the "Police Law Enforcement Practical Training Course" are carried out,which can bring some useful thoughts to improve the practical training curriculum system of public security colleges.
