Since the 18 th National Congress,China's anti-corruption cause has entered a new stage andachieved fruitful achievements.However,problems in the anti-corruption process have gradually emerged,mainly because China's supervision system is not suitable for the current anti-corruption form,and it is urgent to carry out institutional innovation to further strengthen anti-corruption efforts.In this context,China began to carry out supervision system reform.In 2016,China began the pilot work of the supervision system reform,and then the supervision system reform was carried out nationwide.The establishment of the Supervisory Committee in 2018 and the promulgation of the "Supervisory Law" mark that China's monitoring system has entered a new stage.As an important political system in China,the supervision system plays an important role in strengthening the party's leadership and promoting the modernization of the country's governance capabilities and governance system.Therefore,the study of the path of China's supervision system reform is particularly important.At present,China's national supervision system reform has achieved initial results,but it needs further improvement and deepening.It is necessary to continue to promote and deepen the reform of the state supervision system at a new starting point.The thesis analyzes the reform of China's supervisory system by means of historical institutionalism analysis.The thesis first expounds the relevant theories of historical institutionalist analysis methods and the basic theories of the supervisory system,and analyzes the rationality of the combination of supervision system and historical institutionalism.Secondly,the author analyzes the historical institutionalism of the supervision system reform since the founding of the People's Republic of China,and divides the transitional stage into four periods: creation and exploration,restoration and reconstruction,reform and improvement,and deepening of reform;from which the macro-institutional environment,behavioral subjects and concepts are analyzed for China's supervision system.The impact of China's supervision system changes,path dependence and institutional effectiveness.Finally,according to some characteristics of China's supervision system changes,we have enlightened and proposed several reform directions for China's future supervision system reform.
