Research On The Adaptation Of Old Widow

Since the 21 st century,with the rapid development of China's economy,the national medical level and people's living standards have improved,and the life expectancy has been continuously extended.According to the standards of the United Nations aging society,China began to enter an ageing society in 2000.Due to the special physiological composition of women and the influence of genetic factors,their ability to prevent diseases is stronger than that of men.In addition,since the ancient times,the social family division among male and female female heads has made men more physically and psychologically than women.More pressure.The combination of the two forms a situation in which the life expectancy of men is lower than that of women and the “femaleization of the elderly population”.For rural elderly women under multiple vulnerable groups,widowhood has made their life in their old age worse.This article will focus on the elderly widowed women,explore the adaptation of rural elderly women after widowhood and the factors affecting their life adaptation,and put forward relevant policy recommendations.This paper investigates the basic situation of 231 rural elderly women in Luluo Town,Xingtai City,Hebei Province after questionnaires,and draws ten elderly widowed women to conduct in-depth interviews.Using qualitative research methods,relevant data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews,and the collected data were collated and analyzed.The study found that the rural elderly women in Luluo Town's life after widowhood mainly included three aspects: physical and psychological conditions,daily life and Attachment condition.It shows the physical and psychological discomfort after widowhood,the lack of life care,the difficulty of life,the loss of caregivers leading to loneliness,the inability of the agricultural labor force,the weakening of the interpersonal network,the low social integration,and the higher happiness of the daughter's life.Then,based on the study of the adaptation of the elderly women after widowhood,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the life adaptation of the widowed women.The results show that the factors affecting the adaptation of elderly women after widowhood are micro factors,namely personal factors,including individual age and widowhood time,economic status,education level,personality traits,religious beliefs;meso factors,including family relationships,relatives Relationships and neighborhoods;macro factors,including local ideas and customs.Internal factors and external factors together restrict the adaptation of rural elderly women after widowhood.According to the questionnaires and the interviews,the problems in the adjustment of the life of the elderly widowed women in rural areas were put forward.The corresponding policy recommendations were put forward: first,to exert the age advantage,so that the elderly widowed women can pick up the confidence;second,supervise the support responsibility and make the elderly widowed.Women have their affiliation;third is to strengthen social support and help the elderly widowed women to get rid of obstacles;fourth is to improve social security and reconcile the widowed elderly women;fifth is to create a good atmosphere for the elderly widowed women to be respected.It is designed to get them out of the shadow of widowhood as soon as possible and adapt to the life after widowhood.
