Research On The Changes And Influencing Factors In Life Satisfaction Of Rural Elderly Women

The attention and research of the rural elderly women is increasingly important as the aging in China.Based on the longitudinal survey data of CLHLS in 2008 and 2014,this paper explores the changes in life satisfaction of the rural elderly women,Using Longistic regression model,analyze the correlation of the change of life satisfaction and the individual’s-charactors such as marital status,self-reported health status,ability of daily life,the objective economic condition,relative economic status,medical security situation and living arrangements,the experimental analysis implies: The life satisfaction of the rural elderly women is relative stable.Contrast between 2008 and 2014 the trend of “get better” is clear;The change of the individuals’ life satisfaction is not dramatic,most of the change occurred among the adjacent levels;The improvement of self-reported health level,relative economic condition get better,the objective economic condition,living with families can improve the life satisfaction of rural elderly women significantly.And marital status,self-care ability of daily life,medical security situation on the regression results was not significant,but through the cross analysis can be found that,People who has been feel life is “good” marital status is stable;Improve the ability of daily life contributes to a better life satisfaction;The effect of medical security situation on life satisfaction was not significant,but the lack of timely treatment would reduce the life satisfaction.
