In today's world, women's political participation,as an important aspect of the Advancement of women, has become one of the important symbols for measuring a country's development and civilization's progress. As Marx said, social change is inseparable from the promotion of women as a subject, and the progress of society can be accurately measured by the status of women in society.China is a unified multi-ethnic country.Equality, unity and common prosperity of all ethnic groups are the basic principles for handling ethnic relations in China. Therefore,it is of profound significance to strengthen the research on minority women's participation in politics to promote the development of minority women themselves and to realize the common prosperity of all ethnic groups.Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is the earliest minority autonomous region in China. Its unique geographical environment and cultural accumulation provide a good sample for the study of minority women's political participation. This paper mainly takes gender theory as the research perspective and adopts the methods of literature research, comparative research, legal text research and data analysis.Based on the data, this paper analyzes the actual situation of minority women's political participation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The autonomous region has made great achievements in ensuring the realization of the rights of ethnic minority women to participate in politics, and has shown good development. However, traditional gender attitudes still constrain ethnic minority women from exercising their right to participate in politics, and there are still some problems in protecting the rights of ethnic minority women to participate in politics.Through the domestic and foreign comparison, this paper looks for the gap between the domestic law and the provisions of the convention and the practice of other countries, and tries to provide effective international examples for reference,in order to put forward suggestions and ideas for further safeguarding the rights of minority women in the inner Mongolia autonomous region to participate in politics. The research feature of this article is that ethnic minority women with dual identity are the research objects.By analyzing the overall situation of minority women's political participation in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the author evaluates the gender impact of the laws on the active measures of minority women's political participation in minority areas and their implementation, thus providing suggestions for the introduction of more gender-sensitive laws and regulations. It is hoped that by improving the relevant legal system and enhancing the social gender awareness of the whole society, the right of minority women in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to participate in politics can be effectively guaranteed.By analyzing the current situation and putting forward the problems,we finally formed the idea of solving the problem and also formed the research results of the full text.
