Research On Local Government Competitive Policy And Its Strategy

The competitive relationship between regional central cities is an important concern of current levels of government,especially local governments,and an important aspect of current research on local government relations.Fuzhou and Xiamen are important central cities on the west coast of the Straits.As the two key areas of the Fujian Free Trade Zone,each has its political status and administrative status.The relationship between the two cities is complex and diverse,especially in the economic and cultural exchanges with Taiwan.On the one hand,although there is cooperation between them,the competition still occupies a relatively dominant position.Based on the horizontal inter-governmental relationship,this paper takes the relevant theories of local government competition as the analytical tools,and uses the relevant regional policy texts issued by the governments of Fuzhou and Xiamen to demonstrate and analyze the texts,and combs and compares the policy texts.The law will carry out research on the competitive policies of Taiwan and Xiamen in the two cities,especially the policy strategy.The purpose is to better clarify the dynamic relationship between local governments in China,and the development direction and policy strategies adopted in the process of change.First of all,this paper systematically sorts out the research status of inter-governmental relations and local government competition,reviews the theoretical basis and defines related concepts.Secondly,from the beginning of the reform and opening up to the end of 2018,the policy texts of the Taiwan policy issued by Fuzhou and Xiamen will be carefully combed from beginning to end.Using text analysis,the two cities have a comprehensive policy toward Taiwan.On this basis,it discusses the main reasons for the formation of competitiveness between the two cities in Fujian and Xiamen and the main areas of competition policy between the two cities.Finally,as a key point,this paper is based on the Taiwanese policy of the two cities.The text summarizes the main strategies for the two cities in Fuzhou to compete through local policies,and how Fuzhou and Xiamen use different policy strategies to participate in the competition.The final article provides practical advice and ideas on establishing a reasonable and appropriate inter-governmental relationship between local governments.
