Research On The Countermeasures To Solve The Difficulties In Parking In Old Urban Communities

With the continuous rapid development of the social economy and the continuous improvement of the demand for maneuvering travel,the potential of the automobile market has continued to be released,the amount of possession has increased unprecedentedly,and the traffic pressure has gradually changed from dynamic to static.“Parking difficulties” has become another urban disease.Especially in the old city in the city,due to various conditions,parking difficulties are particularly prominent.Due to historical and objective reasons such as construction time and planning standards,the old city has a problem of congenital shortage of municipal supporting facilities.The contradiction between supply and demand between effective parking resources and parking demand is extremely prominent,and encroachment on sidewalks,green belts,fire exits,and building dams.The phenomenon of parking is very serious,causing traffic congestion,causing safety hazards,destroying the livable environment,causing contradictions in the neighborhood and affecting social harmony and stability.It is extremely urgent to strengthen the comprehensive management of the problem of “difficult parking” in old communities.Taking D area of Chongqing as an example,this paper selects the Y street in D area as a sample to comprehensively analyze the parking problem of the old community and form a set of methods and strategies to improve the parking problem of the old community.First of all,this paper reviews the research on parking governance in urban residential areas at home and abroad,sorts out the results and shortcomings of previous research,and proposes the purpose,content and method of the research.Secondly,using the theory of public management to deeply analyze the parking conditions of the old communities in the urban area of Chongqing D,and summarize the five major situations of total imbalance,structural imbalance,spatial imbalance,time imbalance and order imbalance.Thirdly,through the appearance,the potential causes behind the difficult parking problem in the old community in D District of Chongqing City were deeply explored.Then,learn from the experience and practices of parking at home and abroad,especially in the old community parking,and propose improvement strategies for mitigating the difficulty of parking in the old community in D District of Chongqing from the macro,meso and micro dimensions.Finally,summarizing the conclusions and proposing future research directions,providing general direction guidance for solving the parking problems of similar old communities,and providing ideas and references for other old communities to solve future parking problems.
