Glory of the King was officially tested on Android and IOS platforms and quickly became popular among teenagers on 26 November 2015.In Tencent's data,there is one player in every seven person,and among these players,more than 36 million are minors,of which 54% are 11-20 years old.However,there are many distorted historical and consumption history contents in the game of King's Glory,which seriously mislead the players,especially the historical cognition of the left-behind children in rural areas.This paper identifies six left-behind children in rural areas as the subjects of study.Through in-depth interviews with them,based on the classical sociological theories such as Meade's Symbolic Interaction Theory,Habermas' Communication Action Theory and Piaget's Cognitive Theory,this paper systematically analyses the chemical reactions between The Glory of the King and the historical cognition of left-behind children in rural areas and makes attribution analysis.Through interviews,it is found that the negative influence of “The Glory of the King” on the historical cognition of left-behind children in rural areas is mainly reflected in misinterpreting the identity and personality of historical figures;blurring the construction of historical figures in the hearts of left-behind children in rural areas and the establishment of a positive outlook on history.The reasons can be summed up in the following aspects:the lack of learning consciousness and knowledge reserve of left-behind children in rural areas;the lack of care and education of guardians;the distortion of historical figures by operators of Glory of the King to attract players' attention;the inadequate government and social policies and attention,lack of care and action.This study then puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to resolve the negative impact of Glory of the King on rural left-behind children's historical cognition by inspiring them to establish correct learning concepts,calling on operators of Glory of the King to respect history,and calling on the government to improve and help in policy and system.
