Research On Social Work Participation In The Prevention Of Lonely Death For The Elderly Living Alone In The City

In recent years,the "lonely dead" incident has frequently appeared in media reports and has become a hot topic of discussion.The aging of the population and changes in family structure have led to the emergence of many elderly people living alone.This phenomenon is closely related to the occurrence of the "lonely death" incident.So,in order to avoid the situation of Japan’s “lonely death” becoming more and more serious,it is necessary to do a good job of “lonely death” in advance.This study conducted a questionnaire survey of elderly people living alone in the H community to understand the living conditions of elderly people living alone,and found that they have certain problems at the family level,body level,psychological level and life level.They have the high risk of “lonely death” and the need for social work to help the elderly living alone in the H community to prevent “lonely death”.On the one hand,the author further improved the information of the elderly living alone through case interviews,and with the assistance of community workers,established a development group for the elderly living alone in the community.Through a series of group activities,the group members can change the cognition of the community,improve the sense of belonging to the community,establish the network of interpersonal relationships and enhance the ability of the members to live independently.On the other hand,during the group activities,social workers,volunteers and community workers assisted the elderly living alone,and encouraged the elderly living alone to participate in community activities.After the end of the practical work of the H community,the author summarizes the social work service,and believes that social work helps the elderly living alone to “go out”,creating an environment for the elderly living alone,and establishing a high-risk case database for the elderly living alone can achieve certain preventive effects.In addition,the author believes that the government plays a positive role in the happy life of the elderly living alone from the policy aspect,the society from the promotion of "filial piety" and the community to provide more care.
