Research On The Role Of Self-discipline Platform In Rebuilding Foundation's Credibility

In recent years,the frequent occurrence of charity scandals makes the foundation's credibility level questioned by the public seriously,The construction of foundation credibility has become a key issue of foundation and social concern,the continuous development of "Internet+" makes the self-regulating industry platform come into being at the right time and plays an important role in the rebuilding of foundation credibility.Therefore,it is of great significance to fully explore the mechanism and deficience of the self-regulating industry platform in the recasting of foundation credibility,and to promoting the orderly development of foundation industry.This paper defines the public trust of foundation from two aspects:internal platform public trust and external platform public trust.The relevant scholars mainly study the influence factors of the foundation credibility from"basic conditions,internal governance,work performance,social accountability,transparency and social significance".This is consistent with the evaluation system of Beijing foundation.Based on this,the Beijing Foundation Evaluation Index System was selected as the analysis tool of this paper to explore the construction of the foundation credibility.Through the analysis of the panel data of the Beijing Foundation Evaluation from 2013 to 2017,we found that the foundation credibility construction of our country has been achieved a lot of progress,which is the result of joint efforts of many parties.Among them,the self-disciplined industry platform gives full play to the "connection" function of "Internet+",and embeds foundations and stakeholders into the unity of effective communication through the open and transparent information,It makes up for "government failure" and "voluntary failure",which plays an important role in enhancing the credibility of the foundation.Therefore,this paper takes the China Foundation Center as an example to explore,the analysis found that it played an important role in the foundation's credibility construction in terms of "basic conditions,internal governance,work performance,social significance and impact,social responsibility",but combined with questionnaires and interviews,we find that there are shortcomings of the China Foundation Center in the quality of indicators,professional analysis,and their own authority.This requires the China Foundation Center to strengthen capabilities and brand building itself,it also needs the foundations to continuously strengthen their credibility;In addition,the government must provide environmental and legal support.To promote the China Foundation Center to play a greater role in the foundation's credibility building.
