Research On The Capacity Building Of Female Police Force In Male Prison

Prison is a state violent machine that assumes the function of re-educating and reforming criminals.Prison police,consisted of the P.R.C Police,is the prison superintendent,and its team capacity construction has a direct correspondence to the fulfillment of duties assigned by the country.Since most of the prison polices of an all-male prison are males,the female prison polices always fail to engage in front-line work and are gradually being marginalized with little attention.In this regard,it is of practical significance to study the team capacity construction of the female prison polices in an all-male prison.From a perspective of female prison polices in an all-male prison,the paper takes the Prison A of Jiangxi Province as an example to probe into the existing problems,and attempt to analyze and reveal the deep reasons underneath the status quo through four aspects of team elite structure,team learning ability,team creativity,and team adaptability.The main problem is that the talent structure is solidified and the ability to learn,create and adapt is not enough.The root cause is caused by the environment of the prison system,coupled with the special characteristics of women's social positioning and other factors.This article uses performance assessment theory and incentive theory and other public management related professional knowledge to put forward several suggestions for optimizing the capacity building of female police officers in male prisons,such as innovative management,strengthening publicity,and giving full play to the police force resources of female police.It is hoped that this paper can be of substantial help to the team capacity construction of female prison guards in an all-male prison.
