A Study On The Cultivation Of Citizens' Healthy Social Mentality From The Perspective Of Social Governance

Social governance is a process in which the government-led multiple-subjects manage social public affairs in accordance with law through equal cooperation,dialogue,negotiation,and communication to maximize public interest.Since the 18 th National Congress,with the deepening of social governance,the traditional government-centered single governance structure has no longer adapted to the needs of current economic and social development.Improving the social governance system,strengthening and innovating social governance put forward new requirements for self-respect,self-confidence,rationality,and positiveness in the social mentality of citizens.A healthy social mentality can lay a psychological foundation for social governance,promote social governance in an orderly manner,and create a good atmosphere for social governance.At present,civil society's mentality is characterized by widespread anxiety,increased impetuous mentality,low level of social trust,and widespread social unfair mentality.The emergence of these unhealthy social attitudes is mainly caused by the conflicts of social pluralistic values,the widening gap between the rich and the poor in society,and the increasing difficulty of civil society's mental adjustment and diversion.In the process of promoting social governance,we must not only strengthen ideological guidance,foster value consensus;continue to improve social security and continuously improve people's livelihood;and promote fairness and justice,create a social environment of trust;strengthen the construction of social psychological service system,and pay attention to the transformation of social mentality;we must also adhere to the people as the center,widely absorb citizens to participate in social governance;promote the integrity and inherit the virtues,and reshape the good social customs.
