Research On The Construction Of Social Mentality Under The Situation Of Social Governance

Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,Remarkable achievements have been made in China’s economic and social fields,and it has become the second largest economy in the world,occupying an increasingly important position in the world pattern.At the same time,the development achievements have also benefited every Chinese people more widely,which fully demonstrated the superiority of the socialist system.However,the inherent deficiencies in the market economy have also made the gap between the rich and the poor in society more and more intense.The fierce social competition environment has made people’s pressure in survival and life increase dramatically.Under the complex domestic and international diversified environment,people’s value bases and personal needs are also more complicated and diverse.Many social problems have gradually emerged,leading to an unbalanced social mentality,which has exacerbated the formation of unhealthy social mentality problems,brought hidden dangers to social harmony and stability,and increased the cost of social governance.In view of this,strengthening social mentality has become an inevitable requirement for social governance in the new era.The scientific and effective social mentality construction helps alleviate the negative emotions of individuals and some groups in social life.Building a positive and healthy social mentality,which is of great significance for maintaining social harmony and stability and achieving national prosperity and prosperity.This study defines the concepts of social governance,social mentality and social mentality construction by combing and summarizing existing research results,and further clarifies the necessity and significance of social mentality construction.Then the study tries to take Marx’s theory of social consciousness,Cosse’s "social safety valve" theory,Maslow’s theory of needs hierarchy and the relevant thought theory of the Chinese Communists as the theoretical basis.On this basis,the dialectical view of the current state of our country’s social mentality is that social mentality generally presents a good posture of self-esteem,self-confidence,aggressiveness,openness and tolerance,and rational peace.However,the problem of unhealthy social mentality is still prominent,mainly manifested as: "Hate" mentality Generalization,low sense of social trust,increased sense of social injustice,impetuous wind prevailing,dependence on psychological spread,etc.The emergence of these problems is rooted in the problem of the sharp differentiation of the rich and the poor in our society,and is closely related to factors such asinsufficient public participation channels,diversified social values,increasingly complex network environment and lagging psychosocial services.To this end,this study believes that the effective path of social mentality construction in the context of social governance mainly include:strengthening the social material foundation and promoting fair distribution of society;improving the public participation mechanism to prevent and control social mentality risks;promoting the construction of morality and the rule of law,regulating society development of mentality;attach importance to the construction of network culture and actively guide online public opinion;improve the social psychological service system and strengthen social psychological counseling.
