Based on the existing research, this paper takes CPTED theory as the framework of this research and combines the characteristics of the temporal and spatial distribution of street crimes. At the same time,we select 100 streets in G urban-area of S city and collect street environmental data by field reconnaissance.Through SPSS,Stata and other types of statistical analysis software,we adopt a list of analytical methods, such as correlation analysis and regression analysis,to explore the environmental factors of different criminal behaviors. Finally,by comparing the environmental elements of high, medium and low-incidence street crimes, the environmental characteristics of different types of streets are summarized. And the main conclusions are as follows:? There are eight environmental variables that significantly affect the crime of"theft robbery and snatch",and they involve four main senses of CPTED,according territoriality, surveillance, activity support and access control.Among them, the largest total number is the environmental variables involving surveillance and access control element.?There are ten environmental variables that significantly affect the crime of stealing electric vehicle batteries, and they involve five elements, according territoriality, access control, surveillance, image maintenance and activity support.?There are six environmental variables that significantly affect the crime of theft of electric vehicles, and they involve three elements, according surveillance, image maintenance and activity support.Among them, the largest total number is the environmental variables involving activity support element.?There are three environmental variables that significantly affect plagiarism, and they involve two elements, according image maintenance and activity support.Among them, the largest total number is the environmental variables involving activity support element.? There are five environmental variables that affect the crime of stealing shop, and they involve four elements, according territoriality, surveillance, image maintenance and activity support.Among them, the largest total number is the environmental variables involving surveillance and activity support elements.?There are six environmental variables that affect the crime of stealing property in the car,and they involve four elements, according territoriality, surveillance, activity support and access control.Among them, the largest total number is the environmental variables involving access control and activity support elements. There are differences in the environmental factors involved in various criminal behaviors, but the analysis result shows that the activity support factors have a significant impact on various criminal behaviors.High-incidence streets in the case have high levels of activity, inadequate surveillance, and poor environmental maintenance.Among them, the cases aggregated in high-incidence street are mainly distributed in the public or semi-public areas where the ownership is not clear, and the main reasons for the high incidence of cases are the lack of territorial sense and inadequate natural surveillance.Relatively speaking,in the case of medium and low-incidence streets with equal activity levels, the space ownership is clear, and the territoriality is well-developed.At the same time,if the street has a broad vision and a strong natural surveillance,it can effectively curb the occurrence of crime.
