The international community is very concerned about the protection of minority rights today,because most countries are composed of multi-ethnic and multicultural nationals,and many countries and regions have had political and economic conflicts due to multicultural issues.If we can not properly solve minority problems and effectively protect minority rights and interests,building harmonious and stable social relations will inevitably become empty talk.Therefore,how to properly guarantee the rights of minorities is a problem facing all countries.Minorities enjoy the same human rights as other members of society.At the same time,minorities,as special social groups,should also enjoy special human rights protection,such as the protection of the right of minorities to freely communicate with others,the right to religious belief,and the right to language and script.It can be said that the protection of minority rights is of great significance to the peaceful development of the world and the protection of cultural diversity.It is precisely because the protection of minority rights has far-reaching impact,so our country should attach importance to the protection of minority rights.There are many ways to protect rights,such as legislation,law enforcement and judicature.This paper mainly discusses the protection of minority rights from the perspective of legislation.Because legislation is the basis of law enforcement and judicature,only in the legislative stage can we strictly enforce the law,impartially administer justice and effectively protect the rights of minorities by taking a long-sighted view and paying attention to the protection of minority rights,improving the legislative mechanism of minority rights protection,and formulating effective laws in line with the current social situation.This paper chooses the minority nationalities in China as an example to study the legislative protection of minority rights in China.The reason for choosing minorities as an example is that the scope of minorities is extensive,and this paper can not conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study of all minorities.In China,minorities are the most representative group of minorities.At the same time,there are many relevant legislation for minorities in China.Taking minorities as an example,it is not only conducive to the legislative protection of minority rights.The development can also fully reveal the common problems existing in the legislative protection of minority rights in China and guide us to think about measures to improve them.Through discussing the minority and minority rights,and taking the most representative minority as an example,this paper makes a comprehensive and detailed study of the legislative process and current situation of the minority in China,summarizes the successful experience that can be learned from the protection of minority rights in China's legislation,and finds the following common problems in the protection of Minority Rights: the current legislation of China There is no legal concept of minority in law,insufficient attention to the protection of minority rights,lack of mechanism for minority participation in legislation,less attention to the protection of minority rights in international law,and no legislative protection system for minority rights.In view of the above problems found in the research,this paper puts forward practical suggestions to improve the legislative protection of minority rights in China,hoping to clarify the scientific and comprehensive legal concept of minority as soon as possible,pay more attention to the protection of minority rights in legislation,establish the mechanism of minority participation in legislation in the process of legislation,strengthen the attention to the protection of minority rights in international law,and gradually establish a few The legislative protection system of several people's rights.In addition,the development of legislative protection of minority rights has an important reference value for the construction of legislative protection of minority rights.Therefore,we should continue to promote the legislative protection of minority rights.
