It is a traditional custom of the Chinese nation to respect,provide for and help the aged.To do well in providing for the aged service is an important measure to promote the aged people's sense of well-being and positively deal with the aging.With the deepening of the population ageing,the number of disabled and semi-disabled elderly people in China has gradually increased,reaching 44 million by the end of 2018.The disabled and semi-disabled elderly have higher needs of care and nursing and spiritual comfort,but society and families often ignore the spiritual needs of this special group of elderly,resulting in the semi-disabled elderly unwilling to communicate with others,difficulties and obstacles in interpersonal communication.The main purpose of this paper is to explore how to improve the interpersonal communication problems of the semi-disabled elderly in urban communities through the intervention of group work in order to meet their spiritual needs under the current severe aging situation,to help them integrate into society.Starting from the actual mental and living conditions of the semi-disabled elderly in community C of Shenzhen,where the resources are relatively sufficient and the social service is early implemented,this paper aims to improve the problem of interpersonal communication disorder of the semi-disabled elderly,in order to promote the People skills of the semi-disabled elderly,Data and information of the elderly were collected through participatory observation and interviews,and the manifestations of the interpersonal communication disorder of the semi-disabled elderly in the community were summarized,and the causes were analyzed,using the group work method,select the half-disabled elderly with typical representative significance as the service object to form a group,according to the elderly's actual situation and needs assessment,formulate the service plan,determine the service goal,based on the theory of social support and activity theory,six sections of group service were carried out for the semi-disabled elderly according to the voluntary principle and the most need principle.After the group activity,through the process evaluation and the effect evaluation,the result shows that the group work intervention in the urbancommunity half-disabled elderly interpersonal communication problems has achieved the desired effect,there was a general improvement in the People skills of the group members.It can be seen that group activities are effective in improving the interpersonal communication of the semi-disabled elderly in urban communities.Finally,this paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of this group activity and the social workers' reflection in practice,and puts forward some suggestions to improve the interpersonal communication of the semi-disabled elderly in urban communities,for the future development of Social Work Service accumulated experience.
