Group Work Is Involved In The Research On Resolving The Negative Emotions Of The Semi-disabled Elderly In Institutions

In recent years,China’s comprehensive strength has been continuously improved,but some problems have also appeared.For example,the rate of population aging is increasing,and the problem of old-age care for the elderly is becoming increasingly prominent.However,in this huge system of elderly groups,there are also some vulnerable groups that should be paid attention to,that is,semi-disabled elderly.Such elderly people cannot choose a home-based care method due to physical disability and inconvenience,and can only choose the new method of institutional care.At the same time that institutional pensions bring convenience,they also bring many problems.This article takes the semi-disabled elderly in the D pension facility of Qingdao as the research object,and explores the effect of the work of the group in resolving its negative emotions.In the early stage,the author searched and sorted out the relevant domestic and foreign literatures.On the whole,domestic and foreign scholars have relatively little research on the negative emotions of the semi-disabled elderly.Domestic researchers mainly focus on mental,psychological adaptation and needs in the study of semi-disabled elderly.Foreign scholars mainly focus on the study of negative emotion theory,and relatively little research on related practice.In addition,this paper takes social support theory,energy enhancement theory,and ABC theory as the theoretical basis of this group work,which provides a theoretical basis for the research of the problem.Through the two-way principle,eight half-disabled elderly persons in the institution are selected as the service targets.Through SAS and SDS questionnaires,the clients were evaluated and found that they all had negative emotional problems such as depression,anxiety,low self-esteem,and low self-evaluation.The workers carried out seven group activities to resolve negative emotions.During the group activities,the negative emotions of the elderly have been improved to a certain extent.After the group activity,the workers found that the negative emotions of these old people were resolved through the scale evaluation and qualitative analysis.Finally,the worker reflected on the group activity and found that to maximize the effectiveness of the group activity,it is necessary to improve the form of the group activity,pay attention to the personality problems of the group members,and link more effective resources.Only by continuously improving the group’s working methods can we provide more comprehensive services for the elderly.
