In report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,President Xi Jinping stressed that it is necessary to strengthen and improve the ideological and political education.At present,China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,also the ideological and political education has started its new era.In the new era,there must be new look and new achievements,so the ideological and political education must adapt to new tasks and new situations for showing new look and new achievements.The community is the home for people to live,which is also the important field for developing ideological and political education.The ideological and political education in community is taken as an important part of the Party's ideological and political education,it is also a vital part for the construction of grass-roots organizations.During a community visit in July 2016,president Xi pointed out that: “the community is ‘the last kilometer' for the Party and the government to contact and provide service for the residents,and the community work should always and everywhere carry out the Party aim,so as to let the Party's banner fly high in the heart of every resident,and let the Party members in each community play a role in serving the masses and show their good images”.This has also indicates the direction for community work.We should focus on the ideological and political education of the community and aim at meeting the people's needs for a better life.At the same time,the ideological and political education of community should be insisted and strengthened,thus solving a series of new problems appeared in the ideological and political education of urban community in a timely manner.Giving full play to the leading and organizing role of advanced Party members and community workers,improving the management of grass-roots organizations,also mobilizing residents to participate in the construction of the community,so that enhancing the sense of belonging and identification of the community residents and building harmonious and beautiful communities.At present,the function of ideological and political education organizations in urban communities is not fully played,and the development prospects of ideological and political education workers are limited.However,the object and object of ideological and political education in urban community are more and more complex,and the thought is diversified and changeable.In the process of the development of information network,the innovation of educational methods and methods in urban community ideological and political education needs to be strengthened.To deal with this a series of problems and challenges,urban community ideological and political education to meet the needs of urban residents for a better life for the purpose,adhere to and strengthen the community ideological and political education work,play the role of collaborative community organizations in education education,promote the specialization level of advanced party members and the community worker,community education content and method of education innovation,to improve the operating mechanism of basic-level organization management residents to mobilize the masses to participate in community construction,community residents of belonging and identity,build a harmonious beautiful community.
