Mao Zedong's thought of peasant education is a further deepening and upgrading of Marxist classical writers' theory of peasant education.It has rich connotation,strict scientific system and distinct Chinese characteristics,and is an important part of Mao Zedong's thought system.The analysis and study of Mao Zedong's thought of peasant education will help us to understand and grasp the theoretical contribution made by the first generation of central leading collective of the party with Mao Zedong as the core to solve the peasant problem,especially the peasant education problem,in the practice of Chinese revolution and construction.At the same time,we should also strengthen the understanding of Marxist classical writers on the Sinicization of peasant education theory,so as to provide a rich theoretical source for solving the problem of peasant education in the context of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.On the basis of a comprehensive review of Mao Zedong's Thoughts on farmer education,this paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly describes the research purpose and significance of Mao Zedong's farmer education thought,research status at home and abroad,research methods and basic framework,and main innovation points.In the second part,by referring to Mao Zedong's relevant works on farmer education and combining with the relevant theories at home and abroad,the author makes a specific investigation on the theoretical premise,cultural origin and practical basis of the formation of Mao Zedong's farmer education thought,and summarizes the historical context of Mao Zedong's farmer education thought from germination,formation,maturity to development.The third part systematically summarizes the contents of Mao Zedong's peasant education thought,including putting ideological and political education first,attaching importance to peasant's scientific and cultural education,strengthening peasant's Vocational and technical education,and developing peasant's military skill education;focusing on the characteristics of the times,practicality,human nature and class nature;and clarifying the principle of Mao Zedong's peasant education thought according to peasant's willingness and need,agriculture The practical experience of the principle of combining people's education with production practice and adopting flexible and diverse ways to educate farmers.The fourth part is an important part of this paper,in-depth analysis of the theoretical value and practical value of Mao Zedong's peasant education thought.In a word,this paper is based on the background of taking the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Under the unified guidance of scientific Marxism,combined with the current new situation and new challenges,this paper digs out the theoretical value of Mao Zedong's peasant education thought for enriching and developing Marxist Leninist peasant education theory and enriching the theoretical treasure house of Mao Zedong's education thought.Give full play to its practical value in the effective implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy in the new era,the solution of the "three rural" problem,the realization of socialist modernization and the cultivation of new professional farmers.
