Research On The Needs Of Daily Care Services Of Disabled Old People From The Perspective Of Social Support

In today's society,the ageing of the population and the mobility of the population have sharply increased,the size of the family has become smaller,and the function of family care has been weakened.At the same time,the size of the disabled elderly has increased dramatically,the demand for care has continued to rise,and daily care services are disabled.The important content of the elderly care service is an important service item to ensure the quality of life of the disabled.In the new era of rapid economic development and rapid social changes,how to ensure the quality of life of the elderly,especially the disabled,needs urgent attention.The social support of disabled elders after disability is an important source of guaranteeing their quality of life.In order to further improve the status of the use of daily care services for disabled elderly people in China,and to propose more targeted countermeasures,from the perspective of social support to study the needs of the disabled elderly care services and the influencing factors for the improvement of China's elderly care services System construction has very important significance.This article starts with the subject of disabled elders,in order to understand the utilization of daily care services for the disabled elderly,the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey(CLHLS)2014 data was used to study the status and influencing factors of the daily care service needs of disabled elderly in China.Based on the theory of social support,the research framework of this paper is established,from the individual characteristics of the disabled elderly,the caregiver support,the family support,the community support and the government support.Analyze these five levels,and further study the urban-rural and regional differences in the factors affecting the daily care service needs of disabled elders.In addition,it also deeply analyzes whether the characteristics of children when the main caregivers of the disabled elderly are children have an impact on the daily care service needs of the disabled elderly.The research results in this paper show that:(1)The satisfaction of the daily care service needs of disabled elders is mainly unsatisfactory,and the needs of the disabled old people for different daily care services are different;(2)The daily life of disabled old people with different individual characteristics There is a significant difference in the satisfaction of the needs of care services.The incidence of daily care service needs of elderly people with disabilities in urban areas is higher than that of rural people with disabilities.The higher the self-evaluation,the better the health status of the disabled elderly.The higher the incidence of daily care service needs,the higher the level of disability.The lower the incidence of daily care service needs of the disabled elderly;(3)Care Support from parents,family,and government have all played an important role in the daily care of disabled elders,but community support in China has been absent,and it has failed to have a significant impact on meeting the needs of daily care services for disabled elders.(4)The role of child care support is most significant.The needs of disabled elders cared for by children have the highest incidence.At the same time,the age and education level of children have a significant impact on the needs of disabled elders' daily care services.When caregivers show a very willing attitude in the care process,the incidence of disability elderly care service needs is high;(5)There are urban and rural differences and regional differences in the influencing factors of the daily care service needs of disabled people in China.The individual characteristics of the elderly and government support have a more significant impact on the satisfaction of the daily care services needs of the disabled elderly in the rural areas and the disabled in the western regions.There is still a long way to go to build a sound disabled care system for the elderly.Based on the conclusions of this study,this article further proposes relevant policy recommendations to improve the supply and demand matching status of elderly care services in China.The first is to strengthen policy support for disabled elders to reduce the economic burden of disabled families;The second is to improve the community care service system,improve the quality of community care services,and further rely on community development of integrated care services to meet the diverse care needs of disabled elderly people.In order to reduce the care pressure of family caregivers,develop a professional caregiver team;The third is to break through urban and rural barriers and regional barriers to provide care services tailored to local conditions and promote the balanced development of care services for disabled elders.
