Community self-government is an important component of grass-roots governance, and community self-organization is a key element of community self-government.How to cultivate and develop community self-organization is extremely important. At present, there is still much room for improvement in the function of community self-organization.Also,residents' community awareness and the level of autonomy need to be improved urgently. Therefore, there is an urgent need to introduce professional external forces into the community, take the community autonomy fund project as the carrier, and cultivate the community self-organization power,so as to continuously improve the residents' autonomy power and service level.Meanwhile,it can meet the residents' gradually diversified demand under the multicultural background. This provides a good opportunity for the intervention of social work. From the perspective of social work and based on the empowerment theory, the author has conducted a one-year in-depth investigation of community C and carried out professional social work services.Through designing and operating community self-government projects jointly with residents, the author has hatched a community self-organization team with self-service ability by using social work theories and methods, thus improving residents'self-government ability.First of all, through on-the-spot investigation of community C,the basic situation of the community is mastered. Then, interviews were conducted with residents'committee workers, community elites and community residents to analyze the difficulties faced by residents' autonomy in the community.Afterwards, using professional social work methods and theories, the author takes community autonomy projects as the carrier and intervenes from three dimensions of individual, interpersonal and community to enhance residents' autonomy ability, cultivate community awareness and promote urban residents'autonomy.Through the practice of self-organization cultivation of community C in Huangpu District, this study draws the following conclusions.Firstly, the demand-based interest correlation is the main internal driving force of residents' autonomy, and on the basis of accurately grasping the needs of community residents,it can more effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of residents to participate in community public affairs.Secondly, mining and empowering community elites can effectively form autonomous community self-organizing teams.Compared with other residents, such groups have stronger social responsibility, basic autonomy and influence, and they can call for more residents to participate.Thirdly, professional social work force can provide theoretical support and methodological skills for residents' autonomy, promote residents' committees to change their working ideas, pay attention to the cultivation of residents' subjective status in the process of autonomy, and provide space for residents' autonomy.Besides, social work methods can enhance the autonomy of community elites and improve the standardization of team management. This study takes social work intervention in community self-organization cultivation as a breakthrough to provide new ideas for promoting the realization of urban residents' autonomy from the grassroots level.Especially in the case of a relatively single group of participants and generally weak community awareness in a comprehensive community, which professional theories and methods need to be applied to mobilize residents' participation, improve residents' autonomy ability and create a harmonious and orderly environment for residents'autonomy.
