The phenomenon of left-behind children has attracted wide attention from all walks of life since its inception. After 2010,under the impetus of national policies,a caring service system has been continuously developed and improved to comprehensively solve the problems of left-behind children and meet their needs. This article takes the caring service content of a rural boarding elementary school in the P district of Wuhan as an example, and the actual problems it shows, using interviews and observations to obtain more intuitive first-hand information, starting from the role theory, the study found,in the care service system for left-behind children, the care service resources and service teams of the social groups and organizations related to left-behind children are scattered;the family, school and community in the care system are directly concerned with the growth and learning of left-behind children, the strength and professionalism are insufficient, and the left-behind children's service station in the school cannot adequately provide care services, etc. Moreover, social workers have role dislocations, role conflicts and role failures due to role playing. The main reason for these problems is the lack of a specific and reasonable platform to organize and coordinate numerous caring subjects and services. The problems in the entire care service system have caused multiple problems such as the supply and demand mismatch of care services, waste of resources, aggravated problems, and ineffective services. At the same time, the inadequate role-playing of social workers has also caused adverse effects on the social work profession and role play.Based on the analysis and reflection of these issues, this article believes that social workers have the necessity and feasibility to integrate resources in this system.Given the social reality and practical structure of top-down resource allocation in China,it is necessary for the government to provide social workers to provide the identification and support of the "legitimate identity" of resource integrators, the government, social work organizations and social workers themselves need to take actions to "empower social workers" and explore the "connotation" of new practice of social worker roles. Finally, social workers should reflect on their professional roles and promote the identification of the "legal status" of resource integrators in policy, that is,on the basis of the increase of"power",they will more effectively intervene in the care service system of left-behind children with professional skills and identities,to build a overall platform for caring services for left-behind children, accurately focus on the individual needs of left-behind children, and build a continuous resource input system for the platform to promote the care of left-behind children to form a systematic and sustainable service system.Provide effective and professional support for left-behind children to promote their healthy growth. This article provides new ideas for the construction of a professional system for the service of left-behind children in theory and practice.
