"Farmer Amateur School":the Way Of Peasant's Political Socialization In The Cooperation Period

At the beginning of the People's Republic of China,most farmers did not know Chinese characters and could not participate in political activities.As independent individuals,farmers were restricted in their thinking and actions by the rural environment.When the task force is sent to the rural society to publicize and educate the farmers,it will be responded by the rural tradition,which is like a "sponge" to dissolve the will of the country.Farmers' school is a strategic choice made by the state in response to this dilemma.The chengguan township government provides various support for the establishment of farmers' school and integrates the scattered farmers into the farmers' school,a political socialization institution.Can't touch the political ideas of farmers for the abstract,lack of hands-on experience,and the school's teaching arrangements for farmers and peasants has been taken into account in the curriculum setting maximum life reality,farmers'school education content is woven of peasants' production and living,political ideas,farmers can trade acquisition gradually cultivate correct political behavior patterns.This paper takes the peasant amateur school in the north of henan province as an example,and adopts the research perspective of "bottom-up" to explore how the "peasant amateur school" influenced the political socialization of peasants in the process of promoting the political socialization of peasants in the early period of the founding of the People's Republic of China.Moreover,we can study how to inculcate the national consciousness and inculcate the rural farmers as a special political socialization institution.Finally,it is concluded that the interest is the basis of promoting the political socialization of farmers in the amateur schools,and the localism is the key to the political socialization of farmers.Therefore,the peasant amateur school influences the peasant's political socialization in the rural society and becomes an effective way for the national integration.
