Research On Voluntary Pension Service Model In Rural Communities

China’s ageing situation is severe.Facing the huge demand for elderly care services,the introduction of voluntary services in the development of elderly care services is the only way for China’s elderly care services to move forward.In addition to professional services,the voice of voluntary services is also growing.It is also because of the combination of voluntary services and professional services,government management and social participation in the elderly,which has become a powerful way to supplement the demand for pensions at a low cost and efficiency.This is especially true in rural communities where family pensions are severely out of place and lack of elderly care institutions.As the party and the state realized the shortcomings of the development of the rural elderly care system,they began to actively encourage the construction of mutual aid elderly care facilities in various places,and explore a community-based elderly care service model tailored to local conditions.For the service objects,the voluntary community care service model for rural communities that uses volunteer service teams to provide care services for the elderly has emerged in some villages.Based on this,this article chooses to conduct field investigation and research on the specific implementation and practices of F Town,Jiangxi Province.Through detailed and descriptive analysis of 202 valid questionnaire data,supplemented with in-depth interviews to analyze the problems and reasons in the current status of the operation of the rural community voluntary pension service model,such as the problem of matching the supply and demand of elderly volunteer service,and the volunteer team Structural problems,the organizational problems of volunteer associations,the cognitive problems of voluntary services,the unity of service objects and service forms,etc.The reasons for this include the backward construction of basic public elderly service facilities in rural communities and volunteer services The team lacks incentives and training,too much awareness of the administrativeization of elderly volunteer services.Finally,based on the above research results and the latest opinion of the General Office of the State Council on advancing the development of elderly care services,this article proposes effective countermeasures and suggestions based on the specific situation:strengthening the platform role of rural communities,actively nurturing grass-roots elderly volunteer service organizations,and improving the elderly volunteer service security system.
