Research On The Main Contradictions Of Chinese Society In The New Era From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

A correct understanding and grasp of the major social contradictions is the theoretical foundation for the formulation of correct lines,guidelines and policies as well as a major issue concerning the fate,future and vicissitude of the socialism undertaking.Over the past 70 years the foundation of the People's Republic of China,based on the basic principles of Marxism,the Communist Party of China,combining with China's specific national conditions,has made constant adjustments to the understanding of major contradictions to follow the trend of the times.Based on the history of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the reality of profound changes in Chinese society over the past 40 years since reform and opening up,and the Two Centenary Goals,the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has made new conclusions and basic judgments on the major social contradictions in the new era.A comprehensive and profound understanding of China's major social contradictions in the new era is of great significance for building a powerful modern socialist country,securing a decisive victory in building the all-round well-off society and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream.From the perspective of historical materialism,this paper systematically discusses and studies the major contradictions of Chinese society in the new era from five parts.First,this paper takes defining the basic concepts of contradictions,social contradictions,social basic contradictions and social major contradictions as the logical starting point.To understand and define these basic concepts,we must use the integration of logical and historical methods and start from the history of social contradictions and their evolution to build a reasonable understanding of these concepts.To this end,this paper combs the formation and evolution of the basic social contradictions and their characteristics in different historical stages,and summarizes the main views on social contradictions in the history of human thought so as to provide historical basis and reference for accurate understanding and defining the relevant concepts of social major contradictions.Second,based on the classic original works,this paper combs the theories of Marx,Engels,Lenin,Stalin and Mao Zedong on the basic social contradictions to provide theoretical support for the correct understanding of the major social contradictions in the new era.Third,based on the basic standpoint of historical materialism,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the transformation of China's major social contradictions in the new era and focuses on the interpretation of the fundamental causes,main driving forces and power support of the historical transformation,so as to clarify the rationality of the transformation of China's major social contradictions in the new era.Finally,guided by the logic of “accurate research and judgment,long-term adherence and targeted solution”,based on the realistic national conditions of our country,starting from two key points of improving the quality of economic and social development and better meeting the people's needs for a better life,this paper makes beneficial explorations to the solution of the major social contradictions in the new era and to highlight the value of the Marxist historical materialism.
