Study On Corruption Problems And Countermeasures In Poverty Alleviation

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core has taken poverty alleviation as the bottom line for building a well-off society in an all-round way,and has launched a fight against poverty across the country.This campaign with strong strength,wide scope and profound influence,is unprecedented in the history of our country.General Secretary Xi Jinping personally deployed and made research in poverty areas,conducted a series of important meetings,delivered important speeches,and made strategic arrangements for poverty alleviation.With the increase in poverty alleviation by the Party Central Committee,more and more poverty alleviation funds are tilted toward the grassroots level.In addition,the number of poverty alleviation targets is large,and there are many funds used and grassroots supervision is imperfect,leading some grassroots draw water to their own mill and break the law under the cloak of poverty alleviation,which seriously damaged the vital interests of the masses and undermined the party's image.It is a solemn commitment of our party to deliver moderately prosperous to all poor people and poverty-stricken areas.To made a comprehensive well-off society,we must make up for the short-term poverty as soon as possible,and we must seek our efforts to rectify corruption in the field of poverty alleviation.Exploring the establishment of a mechanism for preventing and controlling corruption in the field of poverty alleviation is a concrete manifestation of promoting the extension from strict party rule to the grassroots.It is an important measure to build a clean and honest party,and the only way to win a comprehensive well-off society.To deal with corruption,we must focus on key areas such as poverty alleviation,project construction,and fund supervision.We must address both the symptoms and the root causes by punishment and prevention to ensure the project landing,capital security,and the benefit of the people.Taking Lvliang City of Shanxi Province as an example,this paper analyzes the causes of corruption in the current poverty alleviation field,such as embezzlement,ask for briberies,and profit for their friends and family.The paper also explore the reasons of corruption and means of preventing corruption,and offer some long-term proposals to building a clean government,hoping to provide useful reference for advancing strict governance of the CPC,wining the battle against poverty and building an overall well-off society.
