Since the reform and opening up,China's rapid economic development and rapid improvement of medical standards, people's living standards continue to improve, life expectancy per capita continues to extend, followed by an increasing number of elderly people,China has entered an aging society. The rapid increase of the aging population has increased the pressure of our country's pension, and under the current pension payment system, the pension has already appeared the situation that the income can't offset the expenditure. At the same time, the decline of fertility rate, the extension of life expectancy per capita and the rise of dependency ratio have led to the gradual disappearance of the demographic dividend in China. The policy of delaying retirement age is exactly the response plan put forward in these background. This paper analyzes the relationship between the employment rate and the working age population,GDP and the elderly dependency ratio to explore the impact of the delayed retirement age on the employment rate of China's labor force.By using SPSS20.0 to construct the ridge regression model, the regression analysis results show that the delayed retirement age has both positive and negative effects on the employment rate of the labor force: the positive effects are mainly reflected in promoting the economic growth of our country, reducing the dependency ratio of the elderly and relieving the pressure on the elderly;the negative effects are mainly reflected in increasing the working age population and squeezing the existing labor force Jobs have an impact on the employment rate of our country. Therefore, the government must take all factors into account, step by step, and comprehensively consider all factors to reduce the adverse impact of the delayed retirement age. There are five parts in the article. The first part is the introduction, which describes the five backgrounds, the purpose and significance of the topic, the literature review of relevant concepts at home and abroad, the research methods used and the content to be studied,as well as the innovation and shortcomings of this article;the second part is the concept definition and theoretical basis related to the research content of this paper. It is divided into two chapters. The first chapter defines the concepts related to population aging, retirement system, employment rate and delayed retirement. The second chapter is related to the life cycle theory, human capital theory, job search theory and intergenerational overlap theory. At the same time,it briefly analyzes the effect of delayed retirement age on labor employment rate. The third part describes the objectives of China in detail The fourth part is the empirical analysis part, through the construction of ridge regression model, analyzes the impact of delayed retirement age on the employment rate of labor force, and carries out sensitivity analysis on the selected variables, further verifies the robustness and feasibility of the model. In the fifth part, the author puts forward some suggestions on the policy of delaying retirement in the theoretical and empirical part.
