Research On Social Work Intervention In Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Service

The problem of juvenile delinquency is serious.All sectors of society attach importance to the prevention of juvenile delinquency.Social forces also participate in the prevention of juvenile delinquency.Reformatory school has accumulated rich experience in juvenile crime prevention,but as the times change,reformatory school also faces problems such as rigid management methods and single teaching methods.These predicaments and the compatibility of social work with juvenile crime prevention work have created space for social work to intervene in reformatory school to carry out juvenile crime prevention services.However,the current research on juvenile delinquency prevention services carried out by social workers in reformatory school is mostly microscopic and fails to investigate the service situation from a holistic perspective.This research takes the case of social crime prevention services for minors in Y reformatory school as an example to investigate the service situation from a holistic perspective,summarize service experience,reflect on the dilemmas and deficiencies of services,and propose solutions.Social workers have carried out four themed services in emotion management,peer interaction,prevention of cybercrime,and prevention of school violence in Y reformatory school.They have accumulated certain service experience: the service form and content should be close to the interest of the client,and pay attention to the client 's self-thinking and life practice,clarifying the role of social workers,and social workers must master the relevant limitations and guidance skills.However,the services provided by social workers in the Y reformatory school also face some difficulties and deficiencies,mainly including broken service dimensions,insufficient service personalization and depth,insufficient long-term service,service focus on problems and behavioral correction,and pays insufficient attention to advantages and emotional care needs.Social work is also facing difficulties in embedding in reformatory school.To solve these dilemmas,the project purchaser and the project undertaker must work together.The project purchaser should consider appropriate extension of the project cycle and strengthen the construction of the talent team of judicial social workers.The project undertaker should establish a tripartite cooperation model between reformatory school,judicial social work project,and youth zone project,actively develop family-oriented services,and expand long-term juvenile crime Prevention the content of services,pay attention to the advantages and emotional care needs of client,and social workers need to enhance the professional ability.
