| The urgent problem of juvenile delinquency required the sociologists to find out the causes and to explore the preventive measures available .On basis of the factual judgment of the juvenile delinquency, as well as the summary of contemporary theoretical researches both home and outside, the thesis attempted to lodge necessary methods to resolve the social problem by virtue of sociological paradigm from the perspective of social network, which was suitable for the existence of the juvenile network. And many reliable evidences have showed that social support was able to take preventions against the juvenile delinquency. Combined with the General Strain Theory and Self-control Theory, it revealed the two kinds of interval mechanisms, namely, one was social support's alleviation of criminal interval driving force, and the other, its amplification of self-controlling ability. Gradually the youngsters have come into their own cultural pattern independent under the background of modern society, at the same time, social changes in turn are bringing the transformation of their structural social status. Both have made their transitional period with such characteristics as persistence, complexity and fragmentation, the successful completion of which greatly depended on the social support. So the conclusion is that the shortage of social support afforded can be regarded as one of the causes of juvenile delinquency. The conclusion of criminal causes made by the shortage of social support demands public polices worked out to prevent the juvenile delinquency, and to formulate the new prevention notion for them to offer essential social support. Meanwhile, guided by this conclusion, the social supporting system must be constructed on ground of the community inorder to maintain the existence and the development of the youngsters, coordinated sets of government measures must be taken to ensure its formation and operation as well. |
