As one of the most influential political philosophers in the United States,Michael Sandel's original views on social justice have attracted the attention of many scholars in this field.Under the background of American society,which is full o f liberalism individual supremacy values,Sandel not only found the problems,but also formed the communitarianism justice concept which is opposite to liberalism on the basis of the new trend of communitarianism.At the same time,because Sandel emphasized the moral factor in his communitarian justice view,he had a deep reflection on the problem of moral deficiency in the current western countries,so to a certain extent,the theory is of progressive significance.It is precisely because communitarianism pays more attention to the principle of group so as to safeguard the rights and interests of the community,which adapts to the development trend of the society today,so it is necessary to study the justice concept of Sandel's communitarianism at present.First of all,this paper mainly discusses the background of Sandel's social justice concept,aiming to clarify its social background and works,so as to have a clear understanding of Sandel's era.Secondly,it summarizes the origin of Sandel's concept of justice.On the one hand,the emergence of Communitarianism and its basic ideas have a great impact on the formation of Sandel's concept of justice after watching the sun.On the other hand,Aristotle's view of virtue,Taylor's view of language community and Hegel's view of collective justice are also the main theoretical sources of Sandel's concept of justice.Thirdly,the thesis systematically introduces Sandel's social justice theory,and focuses on combing and comparing Sandel's critical liberalism just ice theory.In the American society where liberalism dominates the mainstream,many social problems arise,and Sandel gradually puts forward his own justice concept on the basis of sharp critical liberalism.Finally,it analyzes the theoretical value and limitations of his concept of justice,points out the important areas that China needs to pay attention to in the process of maintaining social justice,and objectively expounds the significance of some views of Sandel's communitarian concept of justice in China at present,so as to add theoretical enlightenment for building a fair society in China.
