Study On The Identification Of The Lone Wolf Terrorist Attacks

While peace and development remains the theme of our times,terrorism as one of the major non-traditional threats is still pervasive.More than a decade has passed since 9/11,large-scale terrorist attacks have lessened,but small and shocking "Lone Wolf" terrorist activities continue to emerge frequently,harassing countries like a nightmare."Lone Wolf" terrorist attacks are becoming increasingly native,sudden and covert,and the fear lies in not only their brutality,but also their unpredictability.Both developed countries,such as the United States,Britain and France,and developing countries,such as China,India and Malaysia,are not immune from the "Lone Wolf" terrorist activities.How to prevent and respond to these attacks has become the focus of counter-terrorism in all countries,including China.Different from general terrorist attacks,"Lone Wolf" terrorist attacks are highly spontaneous and secret.However,such attacks are not traceless,and their occurrence and development always go through a certain process.Therefore,priority should be given to intelligence.Targeted intelligence efforts should be made to detect "Lone Wolf" terrorists and their activities,gather inside and early warning information about them,take preemptive actions to dispel their plots in their infancy as soon as possible and ultimately defeat them.In this way,the “Lone Wolf” terrorist threat can be effectively reduced and removed.
