Research On The Versions Of Mao Tse-tung's "Strategic Problems In Guerrilla War Against Japanese Imperialism"

“Strategic problems in guerrilla war against Japanese imperialism” is an important work written by Mao Tse-tung in the early days of the Anti Japanese war.This paper combines the Marxist military theory with the actual situation of Chinese Anti Japanese War,sums up the experience and lessons of the war since ten months of the Anti Japanese War,and puts forward the important military strategic thoughts that are consistent with the actual situation of the Anti Japanese War,so as to guide the Anti Japanese War to the direction of victory.The strategic problems of Anti Japanese guerrilla war was first published in the 40 th issue of liberation weekly on May 30,1938.Since liberation weekly published this article,some newspapers reprinted it,and some publishing houses reprinted it.As a result,there have been many separate books and collections containing the full text or fragments of this article.After the founding of the people's Republic of China in October 1949,this article was revised by Mao Tse-tung and included in the second volume of selected works of Mao Tse-tung published by the people's Publishing House in March 1952.There are many versions of "strategic issues in Anti Japanese guerrilla war",different versions and different characters.Therefore,this paper takes October 1949 as the boundary,divides the version of this article into two different periods for collation and research.After the founding of the people's Republic of China,Mao Tse-tung participated in the editing and publishing of the selected works of Mao Tse-tung.Therefore,Mao Tse-tung's revision of this article is the focus of this study and discussion.On the one hand,he described the revision in detail,on the other hand,he made some analysis and Discussion on the causes of Mao Tse-tung's revision.
