Analysis On The Influencing Factors Of Migrant Workers' Entrepreneurship Behavior And Performance In Cities

Based on the data of Chinese Labor-force Dynamics Survey(CLDS)in 2016,the study constructs binary logistic regression model,multiple logistic regression model and multiple linear regression model to study the basic situations of migrant workers' entrepreneurship in cities and the influencing factors of their entrepreneurial behavior and performance.The results show that the proportion of migrant workers starting businesses in cities is high,and nearly half of migrant workers starting businesses in cities passively because they have no better job opportunities.Different demographic factors,social experience factors,family factors and community factors will affect the entrepreneurial behavior of migrant workers in cities.Male migrant workers are more likely to start businesses than female migrant workers,married migrant workers are more likely to start businesses than unmarried migrant workers,age and the entrepreneurial behavior of migrant workers in cities is a non-linear relationship.Education level,political status and professional technical training have negative impacts on the entrepreneurial behavior of migrant workers in cities,while informal lending access and dialect familiarity have positive impacts on the entrepreneurial behavior of migrant workers in cities.At the same time,the entrepreneurship of migrant workers in cities can be subdivided into two types: self-employment entrepreneurship and employer entrepreneurship.Age,education level,political status,professional technical training and dialect proficiency have stronger influences on migrant workers' self-employment entrepreneurship in cities,while gender and informal lending access have stronger influences on migrant workers' employer entrepreneurship in cities.The overall level of entrepreneurial performance of migrant workers in cities is not high,most of which are low level entrepreneurial types that meet their own survival needs,the individual differences are large.Different demographic factors,personal quality factors,entrepreneurial characteristics factors and family and community factors will affect the entrepreneurial performance of migrant workers in cities.Male entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial performance is higher than that of female entrepreneurs,married entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial performance is higher than that of unmarried entrepreneurs,health status and hard-working spirit have positive impacts on the entrepreneurial performance of migrant workers in cities,and the entrepreneurial city level and entrepreneurial region have significant impacts on the entrepreneurial performance of migrant workers in cities,informal lending access also have a positive impact on the entrepreneurial performance of migrant workers in cities.
